Sides of a Horn (África do Sul)

Realização: Toby Wosskow; Produção: Sir Richard Branson; Localização: Pilanesberg National Park; This is the first film to tell the story of Africa’s poaching war from both sides of the fence. Based on actual events, and filmed in one of the communities most directly impacted by wildlife crime, we follow the journey of two brothers-in-law fighting on opposite sides of Africa’s poaching war. This dramatic short film paints an unbiased portrait of a modern war that is tearing communities apart and driving a prehistoric species to the verge of extinction.

40th Anniversary Of Madrid Pride (Espanha)

Realização: Daniel Pedrosa; Produção: David Egea; Localização: Madrid; Madrid City Council has produced a new video to mark the occasion of LGBTI Pride 2018, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in the capital this year. The audiovisual production stresses diversity, featuring people with disparate identities, ages and racial backgrounds, and makes a concerted effort to increase the visibility of transsexuality and the elderly in the LGBTI community. Whoever you love, Madrid loves you.
2nd Place – Immersive Experiences

Gefangen auf dem Königstein (Alemanha)

Realização: Richard Krause; Produção: Kathleen Biermann-Jung; Localização: Königstein Fortress at Saxon Switzerland.; A prisoner in chains is taken away and brought into his cell, on the Königstein fortress by two soldiers and an officer. This is set in the year 1849, where the Mai-riots raged in Dresden. Revolutionaries were captured and transferred to the nearby Königstein fortress. On arrival they had to walk a long way through many gates and dark vaults. The prisoners where mostly higher status and therefore had more comfortable detention conditions.
