Realização: Teboho Mahlatsi; Produção: Gavin Joubert, Marc Harrison & Wakhile Sithole; Localização: South Africa; Bheki a young Mbhaco maker is tasked with creating the most magnificent Mbhaco he’s ever made. This challenge leads him on a search for inspiration and the adventure of a lifetime… The modern traveller no longer travels to tick places off a list. They want to be immersed, they want to travel like a local. So this short film tells a story from a real South African perspective, giving the potential traveller a real taste of what it would be like to travel through this unique country.

Turismo Centro Portugal – Are you ready (Portugal)

Realização: Pedro Vieira/Slideshow; Produção: Slideshow; Localização: Center of Portugal; For the promotion and internationalization of the brand “Centro de Portugal”, they bet on a film that, looking like a trailer of a computer game, lets you glimpse a set of experiences that the region provides. The main character of the game, travels and lives a set of unique and differentiating experiences, in the territory of the Center of Portugal, with the goal of, in the end, to surf the biggest wave in the world with Garrett McNamara. Because this is not a game, this is real life!

Realização: I-Hui Lee; Produção: Ming-Chang Wen; Localização: Taipei; Traveling through time and spaces of the significant events in Taipei with the perspective of tourists around the world. We explore the distinctive beauty of Taipei in spring, summer, fall, and winter times.

Yoron Island Japan in 8K HDR – 与論島 (Japão)

Realização: Yuki Eikawa; Produção: Maiko Ooshima; Localização: Yoron Island; In the film we see the best of Yoron Island: beautiful quiet beaches and transparent ocean, with colorful tropical marine life. Inside of the island, blooming tropical plants, walking on the White Road and the nostalgic old road with stone walls will also be an unforgettable activity. In addition, there are ancient shrines and the folk village with old fashion houses. If you visit there, you will empathize life and culture of the island with fresh seafood and traditional craft.

Realização: Marco Neiva; Produção: Marco Neiva; Localização: Baião; The film was produced as a (fake) movie trailer about a mystery that is hidden in a Portuguese municipality – Baião – and that can change the world. In the trailer the cultural and historic main sites are revealed and promoted intertwined together as the mystery. With this film we want to promote this touristic destination to a different demographic target that usually search for experiences in urban spaces rather than in rural areas.

Turismo Universidade de Coimbra – “Serenata a Coimbra”

Realização: Tiago Cardoso/Slideshow; Produção: Slideshow; Localização: Coimbra and University of Coimbra, World Heritage Site (UNESCO); A student from Coimbra travels through several tourist areas of the University of Coimbra in search of his friends, with the aim of gathering musicians to sing a serenade to his beloved. A film that is, above all, a serenade to the city of Coimbra, because here “saudade” is born.
