Realização: Nuno Sá;Produção: Nuno Sá;Localização: Portugal;Sea, the last Frontier is a series of epic adventures lived by a team of divers, led by awarded cinematographer Nuno Sá, in Portuguese waters trying to unravel the secrets that our immense sea hides. Taking the public directly “underwater” with the production team to live the adventures of swimming with the largest animal on the planet, getting on a submarine at 1000m deep, diving with sharks or in shipwrecks. We want to take the public on board with us on this voyage of exploration towards the unknown Sea of Portugal, its last frontier.

Our Gorongosa (Mozambique)

After a decade of renewed protection, Gorongosa’s large mammal population has increased 10-fold to over 100,000 animals. But the Park must also find a way to co-exist with the 200,000 people living in surrounding communities. Dominique Gonçalves, a young African elephant ecologist shares the inspiring story of how Gorongosa is becoming a new model for wildlife conservation and community development. By bringing large-scale, long-term health care, agriculture support, and girls’ education to surrounding communities, Gorongosa is redefining the identity and purpose of this national park.

Riding to extinction (Portugal)

Realização: Nuno Sá;Produção: Nuno Sá;Localização: Algarve – Ria Formosa;This short conservation movie was made with the sponsorship of the Lisbon Oceanarium and Oceano Azul Foundation to create marine awareness regarding the huge decline in the worlds largest seahorse population, located in Ria Formosa – in the South of Portugal. In little over a decade this population has decrease from 2 million seahorses to under 300.000 and now a new danger has arrived to the Algarve – ilegal poaching of seahorses to be sent to China for traditional remedy.
